During World War II the Army Corps of Engineers needed to hide the Lockheed Burbank Aircraft Plant to protect it from Japanese air attack. They covered it with camouflage netting to make it look like a rural subdivision from the air.

Lockheed P2V Neptune in flight
The VH-71 presidential helicopter program achieved another major milestone today when the first operational pilot production helicopter (PP-1) completed its maiden flight at AgustaWestland's facility in Yeovil, England.
Joint Light Tactical Vehicle (JLTV) operational prototypes during testing, more than half of which have been conducted off-road to simulate actual mission conditions.
